Brent meets Brego!
Recently our family has been re-acquainted with the Smith family. Twenty years, or so, ago they lived across the street from us and, I remember playing with their eldest daughter and only daughter at that time. Anyhow, Mrs. Smith invited my Mom and I out to their place along with some other families so, we brought Brent with us. He really enjoyed being around other kids but, he talked about the donkey the most! The picture to the left is of Mrs. Smith introducing Brego to Brent. Brent wasn't too sure about the whole thing and though he would talk non-stop about the donkey when inside he didn't want anything to do with him when up close.
Even after seeing Sarah Smith ride him, Brent still couldn't be convinced by either Mrs. Smith or myself to just sit on the donkey.

I LOVE IT!! Ali is starting to smile at us. I have never seen a baby her age smile as much and as big as she did yesterday. It almost seemed as if she were trying to laugh! Every time I smiled and cooed at her she would smile even bigger!!! Needless to say I was a very happy Auntie!!Here she is peacefully sleeping in her Grandma's arms! She is such a doll and has been, thus far, a very
good baby! Praise the Lord! Daniel and Cassie are doing pretty well, also. They are wonderful parents. Brent still loves his little sister, however, he is definitely pushing every button he can. Daniel and Cassie are doing well with balancing their time between the two and teaching Brent he isn't the boss! More pictures of the little man a little later!

Friday, Kristine and I spent the night with our friend Theresa. She works at the OHSU Hospital in Portland so, she was able to take us on the new Tram for free. The ride was fun... As we floated over the Rose City the night sky was crisp and clear!
Here is Kristine peering out at the beautiful Portland lights! As you can see the windows in the Tram distorted the pictures and made them a little blurry. Adds a little character, I guess! :)
Theresa and I at the top of the Tram! Kristine is behind the camera making us laugh! :)
