Hello, hello!! We are back from the Hillcrest/Trinity Bike trip and despite the pouring down rain we all had a wonderful time together! What a wonderful way to see the Lord's provisions first hand. :) I will post and comment more about the bike trip as soon as a dear friend of mine sends me some pictures...I opted out on taking my camera, I figured there would be plenty there.

Anyway, here are a few pictures of my nieces and nephew down in California! They are getting so big. Such a beautiful family. I miss you all very much!

A few pictures

to go on my neglected blog!! Sorry, to all those that have been checking out the Morris Family blog and have been disappointed to find nothing new going on in our lives! ;) In fact it has been just the opposite. We have all been busy however, as the official blog owner I have not been able to keep up with updates as I have hoped to, due to the fact that I am away from the Internet during the week and my weekends go TOO fast. Anyway, for those that don't know, I have acquired a nanny position once again. This one is temporary until, Lord willing, the mother is able to find a new nanny to fill in. I am just helping her out until she can find someone else. So, I have been living in Hillsboro, OR with a sweet little lady and commuting all of 3 mins to work 5 days a week.

I will try and take some updated pictures of our family...but no promise it will be soon. Until, then here are a few of Brent that I thought were pretty darn cute.

May the Lord bless you all!

The Morris Family Reunion
minus a few family members! :(
We had a great time visiting and taking family pictures together (Family pictures to come later.) It was neat seeing the 2nd cousins play together. Brent adores both Addison and Gage and they enjoying playing with him. Both Gage and Addi LOVE to hold baby Ali too!! It is very sweet!

*Above we have the 4 generations together at last!! It's wonderful to see our family growing. *

Papa, Grammy and baby Ali finally meet! My Grandparents absolutely adore their great-grandchildren and as you can see Ali was pretty fond of them as well!! We had a wonderful visit with them while they were here for their week long visit!

More Tulip Festival

Below is the part that Brent enjoyed the most!

Tuesday, April 24, 2007

A trip to the Tulip Festival. We braved the drizzle, that Oregon is famous for, and enjoyed a day outside, snapping as many pictures as Brent would allow! ;) After a while the poor guy just wanted to have fun and look at all the tractors (those pictures to come later)
The picture to the left was our last chance for a pic..he was done by this time!
I thought the tire swings were pretty creative! How the time changes... whatever happened to the good ole' tire and some rope!? ;)

The happy family in a little house! I love this picture! I just can't believe they are ALL looking at the camera. Yeah!

I decided to take up knitting and I have really been enjoying it ever since. A friend of mine started me out with some mittens (I haven't finished them quite yet) however, I was so excited to knit that I started a hat for my niece as well. So, here is my second project that I just happen to finish first. :)

The next project is a hat for Brent! When he saw Ali's he decided he wanted one too.

Such a beautiful family! Ali seems to have been blessed with her mothers beautiful complexion!

I have been blogging a lot because I seem to collect very cute pictures of some very cute kids I just happen to know! ;) I love the one of my brother and his babies cooking in the kitchen.

Some friends from church and I decided to kick start the Spring season with a 5 mile hike around Silver Creek Falls! We had a wonderful time together; jumping puddles, dodging raindrops and talking and laughing with one another.

Pictured below are 3 of the 5 falls we passed by or behind. The rain made the falls even more amazing to see!

A little on the wet side but, having fun nonetheless!!! Amazingly we all stayed pretty warm.

Here are a few pictures of the California Morris Clan!! Marybeth is 7 1/2 years old and finishing up her 2nd grade year!! Such a sweetheart!

And here is the clown of the family! Aedan is going on 16 months! As you can see he loves to laugh
Here is precious little Maddie! She is 4 months old in this picture...such a doll!
Thanks to Jenn for the cute pictures!! :)

A little brotherly love! From the get-go Brent has absolutely adored his little sister! He does have his moments of jealousy but, they are corrected quickly and he soon realizes the fun in the new baby. There have been many times when I've noticed Brent playing but, once he hears or sees someone start talking and smiling to Alice, he will stop everything and sit and stare at his sister with a HUGE smile on his face. SO CUTE!!!

Here is the promised video. Grandma and Ali having a little chat.

The precious pair...Brent and Ali are looking more and more like one another. They seem to have the same eyes and lips.

Such a content little girl she is!
Ali seems to have kept her "very sweet temperament" that I mentioned before when she was only a day old. She has proven to be a very happy and sweet baby. She smiles and laughs and coo's constantly...it is very endearing!

I will post some video of her 'talking' a little later!

The train set (Kindly given to us from the Van Voorhis' when their boys got too old for it. ) is the only toy Brent will play with when he comes over! He LOVES it!

This night, in particular, he and I really got into the building aspect of it and ended up with quite the station. He played with it for at least an hour, sound effects and all!

I am still amazed at how fast he is growing. Especially when I see him next to his baby sister! He has become quite the character and continues to make us laugh!! Such a blessing and so much fun!
He looks more and more like his Dad as he gets older and even more so in the top picture!!

Addison reading to Brent!! These two hit it of well!! Addison is my cousin, Heather's, daughter. They came down to see baby Ali and also, so, we could celebrate Addison's birthday.

Pretty little girls!

So sweet! Addison loves her cousin ( I guess it would be her 2nd cousin) Ali! She would sit and hold her for the longest time...it was very sweet. Most kids I have seen holding a baby would get bored with them after a while but, not Addi!
